What to Expect:

When you come in for your appointment, you will be greeted by one of our friendly front desk associates. They will discuss any paperwork with you, verify your information, get your dog's weight, and offer you a bandanna sprayed with Adaptil. You will then be called into an exam room by a technician who will ask you some questions and leave to get the doctor. Once the doctor is updated, they will come in to perform their exam, discuss the plan for the visit, and recommend any necessary diagnostics. If a diagnostic workup is warranted, an estimate will be offered to you. At the end of your appointment, any diagnostic results will be discussed with you, any recheck exams will be scheduled, and you will be given a written discharge that breaks down the findings of your appointment and any home care instructions following your visit.

Puppy Vaccination Protocol:

We recommend that puppies start their vaccine series at 8 weeks of age. At this visit they will be weighed, examined, given a dewormer, and given their first Da2PCPV vaccine. You will be scheduled an appointment 3-4 weeks later for a booster vaccination. At this visit  your puppy will receive their next vaccine which will be a booster of their Da2PCPV with Lepto (a serious virus in our area) added in. We also have the option of adding Lymes into their vaccine series at this time. At this visit they will also receive a free dose of heart worm preventative and a free dose of flea and tick preventative. They will then be scheduled for their final booster appointment in 3-4 weeks. At this visit they receive their final booster of Da2LPCPV, as well as, their Rabies vaccination. We recommend getting them spayed or neutered at this visit as well.
